On the weekend of the Fourth of July we went to flagstaff for my nephew Logans baby blessing!! Logan was born only about two weeks after Zoey, so they are going to be best of buds!!! I'm thinking it will be more like Zoey will date Logans best friend and Logan will date Zoeys best friend and always do double dates and stuff!! HAHA!! The weather was soooooooooooo nice and I want to live there during the summer!!! We had a fun time with the family celebrating Logan!!

Two months ago, on May 7th 2011 I had Zoey!!! The labor was super easy!! Thank goodness!! I started having regular, kinda painful, contractions at around 6:00pm. At around 8:30 they were very painful, so I went to the hospital and I was already dilated to a 6 and 75% thinned out. I got my epidural (heaven) shortly after I got to the hospital and an hour and a half later I had her. I only had to push for 5 minutes! Zoey is precious and she gets more cute every day as her personality shines through!!! We love our little Zo bug!

For Easter we went over to my moms house and had a yummy dinner. we also did an Easter egg hunt for the kids! It was Zanders first Egg hunt because he was only 6 months old last year for Easter. He loved it and got way into it! He got so excited when he would spot an egg.

We have been busy, which is why I haven't posted anything for five months!!! We celebrated all of the holidays, I'm pregnant, My BABY is almost a year and a half!! I will just post a bunch of pictures to catch you up on most everything that has happened, then I promise I will start blogging regularly!!
We carved pumpkins for Halloween!!

We decorated for Christmas waaaaaaay early, On November 15th. Zach and I love The holidays, so we want to make them start as soon as possible!

Thanksgiving 2010!! We are so thankful for our family and friends!! We didn't take any pics at thanksgiving except for of the food, wich is the most important part, right?!!

Christmas 2010!! Zander got a quad from santa, and he loved it that morning, but since then has been pretty leary of it for some reason!! Santa also gave us a visit, and Zander hated every minute of it!! I guess old men with white beards are scary!!

We got a pair of hair cutting clippers, so daddy gets to cut Zanders hair now!! He likes it!

We finally found something that Zander ACTUALLY likes to eat!!! Spaghetti!!!

We took a trip to the zoo!! Zanders favorite part was the petting zoo and running around the splash pad in just his diaper(we din't bring him a swim suit because we didn't know they had a splash pad)!!

Zoey Rebecca Zeigler will be here in May!!! We are pretty excited and busy getting everything ready for her to be here!!

That is pretty much, in a nut shell, what we have been up to the past 5 months!!!! We are having fun and loving life!!!

I can't believe Zander is already one!!! We had a super exciting birthday party for our little guy this past weekend!!! It was Halloween theme and we had everyone dress up!!! We had a BBQ, pinata, cupcakes and presents, and Zander had a blast!!!!

ASU games!!!

We want Zander to LOVE Football!! So, for mothers day Zach got me season tickets to the ASU games!!! We have gone to three so far, and we have a blast every time we go!! My cousin is a HUGE ASU fan, so every season he always buys a ton of season tickets all in the same area, then he sells them to his friends and family. So we sit in a section of all really cool people and family. It is so much fun!!! The past three games have been late games, and I was nervous at how Zander would do being up so late. But he just chills on my lap, watching all the people, clapping when everyone else claps and he just loves it!!

On August 28th 2010 zach did his second body building competition!!! He looked fantastic!!! I am so proud of him and how hard he worked for this competition!!! He did the comp with one of his good friends Cooper Anderson.. So his wife and I were able to hang out all 10 hours of the comp (5 hours for the day comp. and 5 hours for the night comp.) It was fun, and Shalyn and I made shirts for them that said " My hubby is a stud". They were cute!! It was also fun stuffing our faces after to celebrate the end to the 15 week diet that the boys were on!! It was a fun day!!!

We have been trying REALLY hard to find fun activities to do where we can stay COOL!!!! We took Zander to the splash pad at the san tan mall!! He absolutely LOVED it!!! It was so cute, he would put his hand over the holes where the water comes out of and right when the water would come spraying out he got so excited!!! He just crawled around with all the kids not even looking back to see if I was anywhere to be found!! He is in love with water and being social!!

We also took him to the indoor playground at superstition springs mall!!! He was having so much fun on all of the different things that he could climb all over!!! It was way crowded though and he got ran over by the bigger kids a lot!! Poor guy!! It was fun though!

You gotta love the summers in Arizona!!!!

Zander has done this a few times now!!! He fell asleep right in the middle of me feeding him!! Who does that?!! Not only seconds before I took this picture he was taking a bight of his yummy breakfast!! I looked up from getting his next bight from the bowl and this is what I saw!! His mouth still has food in it!!!

This little munchkin is 9 months old today!!!! Time flies when you are having fun!!!!

This week our good friends Krystal and Richie were in town!!! Richie is in law school right now in Pittsburgh, so they were visiting for summer! We had a get together with the group of us that used to hang out all the time. It was fun! The guys, of course, had a ping pong tournament and the girls just chatted!! A funny thing happened when we were all together!! Richie had never met Zander before, so he picked him up and played with him for a while. Then not knowing really how old Zander was(because he looks older then he is)he just put Zander down on his feet and let go. Not knowing that Zander couldn't walk yet!!! Zander fell right on his face!! We all had a good laugh!! But that wasn't all!!! Later that night, Zander was crawling by Richie when they were playing ping pong. So Richie picked him up to move him and just layed him on the couch. I had to hurry and grab him before he fell right off!!! Richie is one funny guy!!

A couple weekends ago I went to Flagstaff for my Nephew Jaxons first birthday!! It was a ton of fun!!! Me, Zander, my mom, my sister(Kim) and her two sons JD and Nixon all rented a van and drove up together and got a hotel room together!!! It was an awesome trip!! We enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool, having a bbq, having a fire, decorating the cake and cup cakes for the party, and of course the party!!!

When we got there we were all super hungry, so we stopped to eat at taco bell!!! Zander LOVED the cinnamon twists!! Takes after his mommy, loving to eat only sweets!!!

Then we went swimming in the hotel pool!! It was so fun to have all the kids playing and splashing!! They even liked the Jacuzzi!!

Then we went and had pizza at Stephanies house and enjoy her nice backyard!! Zander loved sliding down the little slide!! The weather was so PERFECT!!!!

We had a camp fire that night!!

I decorated the cake and me and my mom decorated the cupcakes!!! They turned out so cute!!!

Then it was the PARTY!!!! This is Zander and I with the birthday boy!!!!

We have been busy this summer so far..... Here are a few things we have been doing:

# 1 Took Zanders first trip. We went to the Richardson family campout over memorial day weekend. It was fun!! Zander did ok considering it was his first time sleeping somewhere that wasn't his crib. I felt bad though because he woke up at 5:30 am, waking the entire camp up with him!!

#2 Went to jeepers! We took Zander to jeepers for a birthday party and Zander met his cousin Tommy for the first time since they were newborns!! They had so much fun together!!

Zander got his first haircut on Tuesday May 11th 2010!! My sister cuts hair, so she did it for us!! He was so good and sat still for her!! I was kinda sad to get rid of his baby hair and the cut makes him look so much older!!! He is so cute!!

The other night, because Zander was sick, we gave him a real long bath, and we put bubbles in it!!! He thought it was the funniest thing ever to have the bubbles on him!! He would just sit there and stare at his hand because there were bubble all over it!! He was so cute!!!

A few weeks ago Zach and I got Zander a blow up pool!!! I went to a ward play date and they had one and Zander seemed to like it alot, and because it is getting so hot, we thought it would be a good idea!! So, we blew it up and filled it on Tuesday!!! Zander loved swimming with his daddy so much!!

His favorite part was the hose!!!

He also loved splashing!!!

My first mothers day was pretty good!!! We went to our first day at our new ward, which was good!! Then I came home and worked on Stephanie's (Zach's sisters) wedding cake! Then Zach went to work!! BOO!! Zander and I went to my moms house to have a big family dinner!! It was a nice time visiting with the family and watching the kids play together!! It was alot of fun!!!

A Boy!!!
Met a girl!!! (In 9th grade at a party of a mutual friends. Side note: The first thing I said to him was,"you have a hole in your armpit".)

They dated!!! (When we started high school at Dobson, and both turned 16 of course!! Well, he might not have been, but I was!!)

And fell in LOVE!!!
Then she waited! (Keeping myself very busy going to culinary school and playing with three of the coolest girls ever!!!)

Rachel called me the other day and asked me to do a cake for Bres baby shower!! I was so excited because it had been FOREVER (Aproximately 8 months) since I had baked for people besides my husband!! So this weekend I spent baking and decorating the cake!! It was so much fun!

Today my whole family (minus Zach because he had to work) went to Texas Roadhouse because my sister was in town from Flagstaff!! It was fun and quite eventful with all the babies!! We had to ask for three highcairs, it was pretty funny! At all times there was at least one of them acting up in some way!! HAHA!! I love my family!! I missed Zach! :(

For Easter we relaxed and watched General conference in the morning. Then because Zach had to work at night, my sister had an Easter lunch. So we went over to her house and had a yummy ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, fruit salad and rolls!! It was so Delicious!!! What more could you want on Easter then family and FOOD!!! I'm so glad it was at a time that Zach could come too!!

Zander LOVES playing with his daddy!! He is so bored with Mom by the time zach gets home from work or school that he LOVES everything daddy does with him!!! Here are some fun things that daddy does regularly with his boy!!!

A few blogs ago I was sad to announce that Zander wasn't liking his cereal very much!!! But now he is a pro at eating his cereal and has started eating some fruits and veggies also!!! He absolutely loves his fruits, but we haven't quite sold him on the veggies yet!!! We are working on it!

Also, I dressed Zander in his first dorky outfit of many probably!!! It is this onesie and it has little bloomers that has curious Georges face on the butt. I couldn't resist putting him in it!!!

But he still looks cute, he pulls it off!!!

Last Saturday we decided to take Zander to his first trip to the zoo!! My sisters and their kiddies and my mom all went with us!! It was soooooooo beautiful outside, which made it even more enjoyable!! Zander had a blast and thought it was soooo funny when I would do the noise of the animal that we were looking at! Everyone had a great day!

This is Zander and I at the monkey exhibit!! It was so cool, these little monkeys were running all around us and swinging from the trees. It was kinda funny when one of the monkeys started doing something inappropriate to another monkey, I had to cover Zanders eyes!! HAHA!!

Zander usually only sleeps 45 minutes at a time for his naps, but today he took a 2 hour and 15 minute nap for me!! I had to take a picture of it!!!HAHA!! I love looking at him when he is sleeping!!

On February 3rd Zander turned 4 months!!! He is growing soooooo big!! At his doctors appointment he weighed 15 lbs 10 oz and he was 25.5 inches long!!! He also was diagnosed with reflux because he spits up ALL the time and he is fussy when he eats! So he is taking baby zantac for his tummy!! Other then that Zander is doing amazing!!

He actually likes tummy time now!! He always tries so hard to crawl when he is on his tummy!!

He loves playing in his toys!!! This is his favorite toy to play with when he goes to grandma Pams house!!

He sits up so good in his Bumbo!! The doctor says he has great head control, I think that's because we put him in his Bumbo alot!!

This is his favorite toy now! There are all of these toys that dangle down in front of his face and he loves reaching and hitting them!! There is also a mirror and we always catch him looking at himself and smiling into it!! Silly boy!!

Our boy is growing so fast and we are loving every minute of seeing what he will do next!! We love our little man!!

On Sunday afternoon we went to the park with my sister and her little baby Jaxon to feed the ducks!! Sunday the weather was so nice and it was fun to be out in it!! Zander loved watching the ducks! It was a fun afternoon with my sister and her family!

Our doctor told us that we should start feeding Zander rice cereal when he turns 4 months. So we decided that we would try it out and see what he did since he is almost 4 months (in 5 days)!! He didn't like it at all!! He would spit out every bight!! It was pretty funny to see him look so confused and not know what to do!! Hopefully he will get the hang of it soon!!

As you can see from the pictures, he did not enjoy his first experience with rice cereal!!!

We spent Christmas eve with Zachs family! It was fun! We ate a lot of junk food, sang Christmas songs, played white elephant and alot of other fun Christmas activities!

Zachs sister, Stephanie, brought these goofy pj's for her white elephant gift! Of course Zach ended up with them after stealing them from his twin brother Nyles! He just had to try them on for everyone! My husband is a goof ball!

Christmas day we spent with my family. It was fun! My sister Stephanie and her husband made us waffles for brunch. Then we went for a hike, we hiked usery park wind caves. I am defiantly out of shape!! I'm all sore, HAHA!!! Then we had a big ham dinner, yum yum!! Then we opened presents and walked around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights!! It was a very fun day!! We enjoyed ourselves!!

This last week was so much fun!! Zach was able to take some time off of work, so he almost had an entire week off! We definitely took advantage of it! We had two friend Christmas parties to go to. We played white elephant at both of them. Zach and I were trying to think of something funny that we could do for our present... So Zach came up with a silly homemade ornament with his face in the center of it. Kinda like those ones you make in the kindergarten and they hang on your tree every year after that! It was so funny! Marcus Klingler got one at one of the parties and Travis, Zachs cousin, got one at the other party!

Our friends Cooper and Shalyn brought a really funny gift also!! They blew up one of Zachs pictures from his bodybuilding competition and framed it!! And Cassidi, Marcus' wife got that!! So Marc and Cassidi both got gifts with pictures of Zach on them!! HAHA!!

Santa trip!!

On Saturday my mom and I took Zander to see Santa!! The line was so long! We waited in line for about an hour and a half. We love the Santa at the superstition springs mall because he looks like a real Santa!! Zander was so good in the long line, he slept and then just sat so good in his stroller, then we were two people away from seeing Santa and he started crying! So for his pictures he was being a sad boy!! Oh well, he is still cute!

I can't believe that Zander is Two months already!! On the 3rd of December was his two month birthday!! We had his two month doctors appointment and he weighed 11 pounds 12 ounces and was 23.5 inches tall!! He is growing so big!

Here he is in the bouncy chair! He loves bouncing in it, he gets the biggest smile on his face every time I put him in it. Then he swings his arms and kicks his legs like a crazy man!! It is his favorite toy!

He loves putting things in his mouth! He drools so much! When he gets tired he sucks on his fist like crazy. It is funny!

* Zander loves to talk, he is constantly cooing and googoo gagaing! I love it!

*He smiles and laughs at us all the time! Our goal all the time is to make him smile and laugh. He probably thinks we are crazy because we are always making weird faces and stuff at him.

* He loves playing with Daddy! Daddy is his favorite!

* He has rolled over both ways! He goes back to tummy the most. He doesn't like being on his tummy very much so there is less time for him to go tummy to back. We will work on it though.

* He sleeps at night pretty good, it ranges between 6 hours to 8 hours. I love the nights that he goes 8 hours!! He has a major case of the 45 minute intruder during the day though. He takes several naps but they are all only 45 minutes, it is weird because we can sit and watch the clock and every time right when it hits 45 minutes he wakes up. if anyone has any suggestions on how to get him to nap longer then 45 minutes, let me know!!

Zach and I could not wait to decorate for Christmas!!! We usually wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate our house, but this year we decorated on November 18th!! Yeah, way early! Zach would have the house decorated year round with Christmas stuff if I let him!! He is so silly!

For family home evening this Monday we made a gingerbread house out of Gram crackers and cream cheese frosting! Yummy! It was a lot of fun! We love Christmas time!

Here is Zach doing the building of the house! That was his job, my job was decorating it! But all we had to decorate was peanut M&M's and candy canes!!

This is the end product! It is a lot harder then you would think, we understand now why people buy the gingerbread house making kits!! HAHA! This way is much more tasty though!

Marcus Klingler, you are an Iron Man!

This Sunday we were able to go to Tempe Town lake to cheer on our good friend Marcus Klingler in the Iron Man! The Iron Man is a crazy thing! They start with swimming 2.4 miles at 7am, then they bike for 112 miles, then they run for 26 miles. He finished at around 8:45pm, it is crazy to think that he had been swimming, biking and running ALL day long! Good job Marcus, you are amazing for accomplishing such an awesome thing! Good job!

First six weeks!

This is Zander on his one month birthday, November 3rd 2009

Zander is six weeks old tomorrow at 8:36am! This six weeks has been so exciting and a major learning experience. Zander is doing so good!

*Zander is so alert! He always(when he is awake) has his eyes so wide open, just looking all around. He loves to look at himself in the mirror, he loves looking at his mobile, he looks at the pictures on our wall(especially the big one of the Temple), and the lights!

*He loves bath time! He gets so happy when he is in the water, and hates when we take him out! It always makes him so relaxed, so we give him his bath right before bed.

*He found his thumb! He is always sucking on his fists.

* He moves so much! He is always flailing his arms and legs about. At night when I go in to feed him he is always so far down in his crib. It is pretty funny!

*He sleeps pretty good! We put him down for bed every night at about 9:30pm and he always wakes up at around 2:30am or 3:00am, and he just eats and goes right back to bed. Then he wakes up at around 6:30am.

This time has flown by! He is going to be a teenager before we know it!:(

First day of full church!!

This Sunday was Zanders and my first day back to full church, not just Sacrament! It went so well. Zander slept, mostly, the entire time. He didn't cry one time, even when he wasn't asleep.

Cake decorating class!!

my mom and I are taking a cake decorating class at Hobby Lobby. It is every Monday night from 5:30 to 7:30 for a month. This Monday we had our first class, and this is the cake that I decorated! It was alot of fun! Next Monday we are decorating cupcakes! I'm excited....

This is what Zach looked like less then a minute after getting home!! And he says that he doesn't even like cake! Yeah right!

My husband has been so blessed with a job that gives him 6 weeks off, full pay, for "maternity leave". We have been living it up having the weekends together as a family. It has been so nice only having him gone during the day for school and not at night for work. We have gotten in a good schedule with Zander where I do the middle of the night feedings and he will do the 6:00am feeding so that I can sleep in. So nice! We did the math wrong and all along we were saying that he didn't have to go back until the 20th of November. But, I was woken up this morning with Zach telling me that he got a reminder saying that he will be back at work on FRIDAY!! An entire week earlier then we have been thinking. He did the math again, and yes, for sure, he has to be back this Friday...... :( Sad day!!!!

On Sunday Zach was able to give Zander his baby blessing! We had so much family and friends, it was awesome to see everyone and feel the love and support from everyone. Zander is loved!

Trick or treating with cousin!

On Halloween Zander was able to go trick or treating with his cousin Jaxon. Jaxon is only a little over three months older then Zander, we know that they are going to be the best friends ever! Jaxon was a Lion and Zander was a horse. Everyone kept saying that Zander was a cute cow, so by the end of the night we just started saying that he was a cow instead of horse... HAHA!

Carving our pumpkin for FHE!

Zach was the one who did the carving of the pumpkin. That is his favorite part, and he is good at it too! Zander just chilled in his boppy watching his daddy!!

I was the one that took the guts out of the pumpkin!! That is my favorite part of the carving pumpkin process. Zander liked it too!!

Every night we take a walk to the mail box, we usually don't have much, except for on Wednesdays, which is our favorite day, add day!! Yeah we are old!! but yesterday we went down and there was one letter, we take it out and it is addressed to Zander Zachary Zeigler. We thought that it was weird that our two week old baby had mail, but it was his social security card. So we took a picture of him with his first item of mail. HaHa!!

Cousins!!

Zachs younger brother Cort had his baby on the 14th of October. That makes Zander and Tommy (Corts son) only 11 days apart. We were able to go over and meet Tommy for the first time on Monday. It was so fun to get pictures of them together.

First date night!!!

On Friday Zach and I were able to go on our first date since Zander was born. We went out to eat at Chilis, we did their three courses for 20 dollars. Yummy Yummy!!! Then we went to superstition springs mall and walked around. we felt like an old couple because our date only lasted about two hours because we felt like we needed to get back to the baby!!! Crazy how life changes!!!

Grandma was able to come babysit for us! Zander loves his Grandma!!

We got to give Zander his first bath after his umbilical cord fell off!! He loved it!! We give him one a day now because he likes them so much. He pees every time though, it's kinda funny. We need to be very care full.

Zander is Born!!!!

I went in for an ultra sound on Friday and they decided to induce me then instead of waiting until Monday. Needless to say I was happy about that. Before they started the process they checked me and I was already dilated to a three and just kept getting more and more dilated. So we were happy that I didn't have to get induced at all. So Zander decided to be difficult and came face first out of the womb, Literally. The nurses would check me and Zander would start to suck on their fingers. That is why his face and lips are so swollen and purple. Zander was born Saturday morning at 8:36. He weighed 6.15 and was 20.5 inches long. His swelling has gone down and we will post better pictures later.

Past Due!

Oh my Gosh! Look at how high my belly still is and I am past due. Today we had a doctors appointment and she said that I am still not ephased, dilated and Zander is still very high. Therefore, I have to be induced on Monday. Boo! At least we have an end in sight and we are very excited for Zander to come!

We were so excited when our crib got to our house, because we ordered it on line. So Zach's next day off he put it all together! Yay!! It looks so good!

Then when I finished working I started to nest!! Within two days I had all of Zanders stuff all put together!! This is one side of his bedroom! I love it!

Here is the other side of his room! Thanks to my sister Kim for giving us her glider chair and changing table, she said she didn't need it anymore. I won't complain!!

We bought this adorable little car seat cover online and it was probably the hardest thing that we put together for Zander!! I know I probably made it a lot harder then it should have been, but it is done!! Yay!! So now that we finished everything in two days, we will just sit and wait for our little guy to come. We keep telling him that we really want him to come, but he hasn't listened yet...... I am having contractions though, yay!!

Home made bread!!!!

Zach has been asking me to make him home made wheat bread for the entire two and a half years that we have been married. My excuse used to always be that I don't want to come home from baking all day and have to bake all night, but I don't have that excuse anymore!!! So on Wednesday I decided to make him bread. He loved it so much that I'm afraid it is going to be an every week thing!!

4 reasons Zach and I knew it was time for me to stop working: #1: Everyday I would come home from work with my feet and ankles looking like balloons from standing on them all day!#2: When I would get home and see the stairs I would cringe and want to call up to Zach for him to come and carry me up them! #3: My job is very much a standing job, but I tried doing everything sitting on an upside down trashcan! (didn't work too well)#4: My belly would bump things off the counters and it was hard for me to bend over so I would just leave a trail of stuff everywhere I went! (I don't think my co workers enjoyed picking up after me) Anyway, so we made Saturday my last day of work! It was a fun day, the owner bought everyone Chipotle for lunch, my favorite! Everyone gave me so many diapers and wipes, and they made me a onesie with the POSH logo on it!! It is so adorable!! I am going to miss them, but not going to miss working!

Jaxons' baby blessing!

This weekend Zach and I were able to go to Flagstaff for our nephew Jaxons' baby blessing.It was so nice to get out of the heat, and to spend time with family!! Jaxon is the cutest baby, he has gotten so chubby!! The blessing was very nice that his daddy gave him. This is Jaxon with his proud parents.It was so good because our entire family was able to come up to flagstaff for the blessing! This is all of us including Zander popping out there!!

Zanders baby shower!!!

My two sisters, Aunt Debbie and friend Rachel threw me and Zander an amazing shower! They did it all in sports theme and everything turned out so cute! Thank you so much you guys and my mom for throwing us the best shower ever!!!

This is me and my sisters! They are so cute, they made me and everyone that helped out shirts that said" Zander all stars". Then on the back of mine it said "star mom". I loved them, I will wear it often!

The food was amazing!! AS you can see, I enjoyed it a lot!! They did the food like the food you would get at a concession stand at a ball game. They had Nachos, mini hot dogs, peanuts and cracker jacks. It was yummy!!

Zachs last day working at the downtown campus!

Yay!! Zach gets to start working at the Tempe ASU campus!! He has been working at the Downtown ASU campus and it is so far away. So we are excited for him to have a better schedule and it will cut his travel time in half!!! WOOHOO!! This is him with all of his buddies on his last day, they had a BBQ.

This last weekend Zach competed in his first body building competition!! He worked so hard at the gym, and was on a really strict diet for such a long time, and it all payed off!!! He got 1st place in his weight class, I was so proud of him!! This is him with his 1st place trophy! Good job babe!
